Courier performance can vary from one area to another. DPD is an excellent fit for many customers, while others may prefer an alternative based on their local depot or previous delivery experience.
To give customers more choice and greater control over how their orders arrive, we are delighted to introduce APC Overnight Next Day and APC Pre-12 services alongside our existing DPD and Royal Mail options. APC also gives customers access to a later weekday order cut-off.
APC Overnight is now available
Orders placed and paid for by 4:45pm Monday to Friday can qualify for APC Overnight dispatch, subject to stock availability, postcode eligibility and the delivery options shown at checkout.
APC Overnight Next Day
- £8.99 on orders under £150
- Free on orders of £150 or more
APC Pre-12
- £14.99 on orders under £300
- Free on orders of £300 or more
APC Overnight is an additional option rather than a replacement for DPD or Royal Mail. Customers can continue to choose the service that best suits their location, required delivery time and budget.
DPD service update
Due to continued increases in operational and fulfilment costs, we have made two changes to our DPD service:
- The free DPD delivery threshold has increased to £100.
- The weekday order cut-off has changed to 3:00pm.
These changes allow us to continue offering a reliable tracked service while keeping our delivery pricing sustainable.
Royal Mail service update
We have larger Royal Mail improvements coming soon. In the meantime, the following changes are now in place:
- The order threshold for discounted Royal Mail Special Delivery has increased from £100 to £120.
- Royal Mail 24 has increased from £2.99 to £3.49.
More delivery choice at checkout
APC Overnight, DPD and Royal Mail services will be displayed at checkout when they are available for the order and delivery postcode. This expanded choice means customers can select the courier, delivery speed and price that work best for them.
