Welcome to Dave-Tech!

I (James) and my fiancé (Ellie) founded Dave-Tech in 2022 from a small, self-built office at the end of the garden. Our mission has always been to provide high-quality yet budget-friendly mobile device parts with the intent of allowing people the ability to repair rather than replace.

The name Dave-Tech is in homage to my late dad, who sadly passed away when I was young. We don't actually have any Dave's working here (yet!).

My time in the mobile phone repair industry spans back to 2010, when, much like many, I attempted (and failed) to repair my own iPhone 2G. Undeterred by the failure of fixing that phone, I spent the next 14 years building the most well-trusted independent repair services in the area. Between 2022, when Ellie and I founded Dave-Tech, I continued operating both the repair side and the parts distribution side until finally my focus eventually shifted solely to the supply side of the industry in early 2024.

Since our launch in 2022, as of today (23/01/2025), we've fulfilled close to 80,000 orders via our eBay store. During this time, we have built up a great reputation with many, many returning customers who trust us to provide them with great parts and a fair and honest level of service.
